fUSbrain2022: Conference Scholarship Poster Competition opens for entries

*This competition is now closed, thank you for your participation.*

If you’re a Ph.D. student or Postdoc hoping to attend the fUSbrain conference in Corsica in May 2022, then we have some exciting news: you can have your conference fee and travel expenses paid for by Iconeus! All you need to do is submit a poster about the current or potential use of fUS in brain research.

We’re always excited to meet new users of functional ultrasound at our events, and to hear about the interesting research that’s being done with Iconeus One. So this year we’re running a competition (open to Ph.D. students and Postdocs) to find the best fUS poster, with the winner getting a scholarship to cover the conference fee and cost of travelling to fUSbrain2022, which is taking place in Cargèse, Corsica, at the end of May.

To be in with a chance of winning, applicants will need to provide a well-presented poster about their research into the use of fUS, or about the potential of fUS to assist a new area of research. The posters will be shortlisted by Iconeus staff, and the winner will be decided by an academic committee of fUS experts.

Ludovic Lecointre, Pharm.D., CEO and co-founder of Iconeus, said:

“We’re always keen to welcome new fUS researchers to our events, but we know that getting funding to attend isn’t always easy. So we’re really looking forward to helping a Ph.D. student come to fUSbrain2022 – and in the process hear about some of the fascinating research into brain science that’s being done with functional ultrasound!”.

To find out more about the competition (and to submit your entry by 4 March 2022), visit the competition page.
