From 25–29 June 2024, we’ll be at the FENS Forum in Vienna – where we’ll be highlighting the latest from the world of functional ultrasound.

Iconeus to present latest fUS advances at the FENS Forum 2024

June is upon us, and we’re getting ready for the biennial FENS Forum, which this year is being held in Vienna, Austria, from 25–29 June, run by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies.

As well as the scientific program, a highlight for us this year will be an ‘open theater’ session, titled “Pioneering real-time whole-brain imaging with functional ultrasound”, and presented by our Head of Product Development, Jeremy Ferrier.

Packed into the half-hour session at 15:00 on Thursday 27 June will be an overview of the exciting applications of our Iconeus One fUS system, including topics as diverse as:

  • Why fUS is much more inherently sensitive than BOLD-based fMRI
  • How fUS can be used to quickly visualize the whole vascular tree down to the micrometre scale (using our ULM technique)
  • How task-based neuroimaging can be used to investigate brain responses to various stimuli
  • How three-dimensional fUS can be used for whole-brain imaging and connectivity mapping in mice.

We look forward to seeing you there, or at our booth (#613), and to the conversations that are sure to result!

Would you like to book a slot to talk to Jeremy at the FENS Forum 2024? Let us know a suitable time, and we’ll be in touch.
