A new phase of growth for Iconeus
As our business goes from strength to strength, we needed bigger and better facilities… so we were excited to move into our new offices in south-central Paris in September.
The first 10 years of a company are often packed with exciting moments – and in early September, we hit yet another milestone, as we moved from our old site within the precincts of the Hôpital Cochin, to larger facilities not far to the south, on the boulevard Romain Rolland.
We now have double the floor space to work with (plus storage in the basement of the building), which will give us plenty of room to expand over the coming years. We’re also now much closer to our lab at Physics for Medicine Paris where we carry out in vivo work, enhancing our ability to push forward with our research program and run live demos for our customers.
So what facilities do we have in our new accommodation?
- A 50-seat seminar room with a projection screen, ideal for hosting events
- Two workshops, one of which we’re planning to use for assembling equipment for clinical use
- A lab kitted out with fUS equipment for experimental work
- One meeting room solely for us, plus access to five shared meeting rooms within the building
- Space for over 50 staff – which should see us good for at least the next few years
- Access to a large restaurant, space to socialise, and a rooftop area for views of the city!
Ludovic Lecointre, Pharm.D., CEO and co-founder of Iconeus, said “We have now settled in well to our new facilities, and we’re looking forward to using the extra space to advance the development of functional ultrasound even further as we move into 2025!”
