We are looking for our next QARA Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, you will become the central driver of the Quality Management System (QMS). Your mission is twofold: to ensure excellence and compliance of our research products (ISO 9001) while playing a key role in aligning our processes with medical device standards (ISO 13485).

You will act as the guarantor of operational performance and customer satisfaction, within a risk-based approach.

Your Missions

  • Maintain and optimize the QMS according to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and actively participate in external audits.
    Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and critical Non-Conformities (NC).

Compliance & Product Release
  • Authorize the final release of products (review of documentation, compliance criteria, labeling).
  • Ensure traceability and completeness of technical documentation.

Change Control
  • Evaluate and approve changes impacting the scope (products, processes, systems).
  • Perform dual impact analyses to maintain consistency between ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 workflows.

Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Manage strategic KPIs and lead improvement plans.
  • Actively contribute to management reviews and overall quality reporting.

Quality Culture & Knowledge Sharing
  • Train and raise awareness among teams regarding regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Promote a quality culture and encourage cross-team versatility.

Expected Deliverables

  • Internal audit reports and participation in certification audits.
    KPI dashboards and monthly reporting.
  • Compliant product release documentation.
  • Drafting and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • CAPA plans and reports; change control register.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Engineering, or a scientific field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
  • Languages: Fluent French and English (international environment).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of MDR regulations (Europe) and/or FDA regulations (USA).
  • Experience with QMS harmonization projects or combined audits.

We are looking for an Application Specialist.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and scientific support during the selling process
  • Perform demonstrations to potential customers either at our Paris facility or at the customer site
  • Ensure the installation of ICONEUS devices at customers site
  • Ensure the training of customers at customers site or remotely on the use of the system as well as on our neuro-imaging modality including animal handling and preparation
  • Provide the scientific support to customers in order to help them getting started as efficiently as possible in their research with ICONEUS system
  • Deploy equipment / software updates onsite or remotely
  • Analyze customers feedback and feed ICONEUS strategy in terms of R&D, future products and current products improvements
  • Make scientific materials for commercial and marketing purposes
  • Participate in international congresses and commercial meetings
  • Write scientific publications, posters, communications including social media
  • Contribute to maintain the content of ICONEUS website
  • Identify commercial leads by monitoring the scientific publications, posters, and communications, among the neurosciences community
  • Contribute to the commercial follow-up of prospects from identification to the sale closing

Requirements:

  • PhD in Neuroscience, or related field
  • Good practical skills for in vivo experimentation (rodents) including surgeries
  • Ideally, experienced in brain imaging (calcium imaging, fMRI, etc.)
  • Able to give conferences / seminars to a large audience
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including abroad
  • Excellent English written and oral
  • Good communication skills
  • Very good sense of contact and very good interpersonal skills
