Customer case-study: How US researchers are using high-resolution whole-brain fUS imaging in the mouse to study neurovascular aging
We speak to Professor Stefano Tarantini and colleagues at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, who since having an Iconeus One system installed in 2022 have already uncovered new insights into brain aging mechanisms in the mouse.
We describe the team’s use of regular functional ultrasound (fUS) and ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM), and hear how the system’s scanning depth, resolution, and suitability for longitudinal studies have been central to the success of their research.
