We’ll be heading to Rotterdam in the second week of September for a specialist symposium on clinical applications of functional ultrasound – where one of the keynote speakers will be Iconeus’ co-founder, Dr. Mickaël Tanter.
Sometimes a conference is so closely aligned to your own interests that attending it – and even sponsoring it – is a ready-made decision!
And that’s exactly the case for the Panta Rei symposium, being held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on 14 September. It’s being hosted by the Center for Ultrasound Brain Imaging (CUBE) within the Erasmus Medical Center, which has been at the forefront of studies using functional ultrasound.
The topic of the day is ‘ultrasound neuro-imaging and neuromodulation of the human brain’, with a goal of uniting ultrasound experts working on the human brain. That’s of course a topic that’s close to our own interests, as we expand from the preclinical to the clinical use of our own fUS equipment.
The day will feature talks from seven speakers focusing on the use of ultrasound in a clinical setting, with the first talk of the day being given by Dr. Mickaël Tanter (co-founder of Iconeus), who is speaking on the subject of ‘Ultrafast ultrasound imaging of the human brain’.
If you’re in the region, we hope to see you there, to learn more about the cutting-edge of clinical applications of fUS, and share ideas on where the field might be headed.
