Iconeus to present functional Ultrasound at the Neuroscience Conference 2024
From 5–9 October 2024, we’ll be at the SfN in Chicago– where we’ll be highlighting the latest from the world of functional ultrasound.
As the summer vacation season draws to a close, we’re already looking forward to the highlight of our autumn – the ‘Neuroscience 2024’ conference, organized by the Society for Neuroscience (SfN), and being held in Chicago from 5–9 October.
SfN regulars will know that we launched Iconeus One at the conference in Chicago back in 2019. So we’re really happy to be returning to the city this year to talk to neuroscientists from the US and beyond about the power of functional ultrasound to revolutionize their research.
As well as the scientific program, a highlight for us this year will be an ‘product theater’ session, titled “Pioneering real-time whole-brain imaging with functional ultrasound”, and presented by Soumee Bhattacharya, PhD – International sales manager .
Packed into the half-hour session at 11:30 AM on Tuesday 8 October will be an overview of the exciting applications of our Iconeus One fUS system, including topics as diverse as:
- Why fUS is much more inherently sensitive than BOLD-based fMRI
- How fUS can be used to quickly visualize the whole vascular tree down to the micrometre scale (using our ULM technique)
- How task-based neuroimaging can be used to investigate brain responses to various stimuli
- How three-dimensional fUS can be used for whole-brain imaging and connectivity mapping in mice.
Be sure to attend the “Advancing Brain Imaging Frontiers” symposium, which will cover recent breakthroughs in functional Ultrasound imaging methods for preclinical and clinical Research : Mini-symposium
We look forward to seeing you there, or at our booth 1465, and to the conversations that are sure to result!
Would you like to book a slot to talk to us at the SfN 2024? Let us know a suitable time, and we’ll be in touch.
