From 12–15 June, we’re excited to be heading to sunny Queensland in Australia for two simultaneous conferences showcasing the latest in neuroscience research – Brain and Brain PET 2023.
Neuroscience research is a global endeavor, and at Iconeus we’re always keen to gain new perspectives on the field. So it’s with a degree of excitement that we’ll be heading to Brisbane in Australia in June, to attend a joint conference featuring the latest neuroscience research.
Organized by the International Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (ISCBFM), and taking place once every two years, this event combines the 31st International Symposium on Cerebral Blood Flow, Metabolism and Function (‘Brain’), and the 16th International Conference on Quantification of Brain Function with PET (‘Brain PET’).
The organizers say that the event will “cover a broad swathe of neuroscience research, with a particular focus on brain function, metabolism and cerebral blood flow, including the function of the neurovascular unit, the blood–brain barrier, brain imaging, brain repair and cerebrovascular pathology”.
Along with the expected attendee list of over 500 people, that makes it an ideal event for us to learn more about the challenges faced by researchers in this area, and present ideas on how functional ultrasound might be able to help. So as well as showcasing our range of probes on our booth (#6), we’re sponsoring the conference, and sending our application specialists to the event!
