We have been using the Iconeus One system in our laboratory to investigate neurovascular mechanisms in awake mice, a central aspect of our research on neurovascular diseases. The system provides functional ultrasound imaging with an impressive combination of spatial resolution and sensitivity, enabling us to capture dynamic cerebral hemodynamics in unprecedented detail.
The ability to conduct longitudinal studies in awake, behaving animals has significantly advanced our capacity to explore brain function under physiologically relevant conditions.
The intuitive interface facilitates daily use by our team, and we are particularly enthusiastic about the emerging potential of 3D and 4D imaging capabilities for mapping complex neurovascular interactions, including collaterals. Iconeus One is clearly a robust, high-performance platform, and the technical support provided by the Iconeus team has been consistently responsive and professional.
